Weyyman keystone state martin handcraft alto saxophone. I really like the look of vintage sax’s and im not sure if this one will play well. Ive been playing alto for 10 years now, but i have no clue about sax worth because i’ve played with the same one the whole time.
Anyone know the worth of this 1930 Martin Handcraft alto sax in good condition?

1If the horn is in stellar playing condition, I see no reason why you couldn’t get $600-800 for it. I frequently visit a shop that specializes in vintage saxophone sales. They have a couple Martin stencils that are even later models than this priced over $1000. If you want to maximize the money earned, I would take it to a repair tech and have it inspected.
