   It really depends because there are advantages to learning different instruments:
   Flute:
   By learning the flute, you will gain a better, more strong embouchure (you will be able to hold a note longer)
   By learning any saxophone you will know how to play all the other saxophones because the fingerings are the same even when the keys are different (Alto & Bari -> Eb Tenor & Soprano -> Bb)
   If I were you, I would master the piano instead but in this case it really is your own choice.

   Good luck!

   By the way, don’t listen to the others who say that flutes are for girls etc. They actually require a lot of air support and are quite difficult to play for beginners.

   Flutes are usually more feminine while Saxophones are classy.

   Learn the tenor sax since it’s in the same key as the clarinet.

   Yes, it is much easier to stay on instruments with reeds, than to switch to a different kind of instrument. If you’ve been playing the clarinet, try out the saxophone.

   girl-flute boy-sax, cuz flutes are girlier and saxiphones are more boy like

   flute may be harder. i got bored of the sax fast tbh id go with flute
